Home - Izmir

Izmir - Thyatira - Pergamum  - Izmir

Tour the first 2 Churches of the Revelation

Upon arrival to Izmir airport you will be met by a Soliman Travel representative. Private land transfer to Thyatira, where you will visit its significant Christian church, the first of seven Churches visited on this tour. Continue to Pergamum, a powerful kingdom of the Hellenistic period and the original site of the second church of revelation. After lunch, visit the Acropolis and Red Hall. Drive back to Izmir.

DAY 2

Izmir - Sardis - Philadelphia - Pamukkale 

Visit 3 more Churches of the Revelation

Start with a tour of the Agora of Izmir. Drive to Sardis and visit the Synagogue and Gymnasium with lunch en route. Continue to Philadelphia and tour of its church.

DAY 3

Pamukkale - Laodicea - Collossea - Kusadasi 

Visit the geological phenomenon of the Cotton Castle 

Begin the day with a visit to the Hierapolis Church, established during Apostle Paul's visit and where he spent his final years. Explore the stunning natural travertine pools of Pamukkale, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Drive to Laodicea, the site of an early Christian community and the sixth church of revelation. Continue to Collossea, well known for its diverse religious ideologies.

DAY 4

Explore Ephesus and the beach town of Kusadasi

This morning, tour Ephesus, the last of the seven churches mentioned in the book of Revelations. You will also get to visit the House of Virgin Mary, the Basilica of St. John, and the museum.

DAY 5

Izmir - Istanbul

Early morning flight from Izmir to Istanbul.

City tour of Istanbul

Visit the Hagia Sophia, built as an Orthodox Cathedral, converted to a Roman Catholic cathedral, then to a mosque and now a museum. Tour the Basilica Cistern, the Blue Mosque adorned with magnificent blue tiles, and the Hippodrome, known for its athletic competitions during the Roman period. Complete the day by discovering the Grand Bazaar.

DAY 6

Take a cruise down the Bosphorus 

Begin the day with a visit to the Church of St. Saviour and its remarkable Byzantine artworks. Drive to the Golden Horn and enjoy the Byzantine walls as you travel through Istanbul. Cruise on the Bosphorus and end the day shopping in the Spice Market.

Istanbul - Home 

Transfer to Istanbul Ataturk Airport for your international flight home.
