DAY 1

Home - Lima

Upon arrival to Lima airport, you will be met by a Soliman Travel representative and transferred to your hotel. Evening at leisure before beginning your journey further into Peru.

DAY 2

Lima - Cusco

Private transfer back to Lima Airport for your domestic flight to Cuzco. Upon arrival in Cuzco you will be met at the airport and driven to your hotel via private transfer. The rest of the day and evening will be yours to enjoy at your leisure as you acclimatise to the high altitude.

DAY 3

Cuzco Tour  

Private guided tour of the highlights and nearby ruins of the Inca capital. The city's name derives from the Quechua word for navel, describing its location at the centre of the Inca Empire.

DAY 4

Cusco - Sacred Valley of Incas                                    

Explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas

Drive through stunning countryside of the Sacred Valley, against a backdrop of the purple snow-capped Andes. Stop to visit one of Peru's most vibrant markets in Pisac, the agricultural terraces of Moray and the ancient salt mines in Maras.

DAY 5

Day at leisure in the Sacred Valley

Take the day to further explore the Sacred Valley with a day of mountain biking, whitewater rafting (seasonal), hiking, or a number of other optional activities.

DAY 6

(Train) Ollantaytambo - Machu Picchu                 

Explore the majestic Incan ruins of Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu 

Start the day with a private guided tour of the ruins of Ollantaytambo before taking the one and a half hour train journey to Machu Picchu. The journey traces the edge of the whitewater Urubamba River as it twists through the increasingly steep-sided valley. From your seat, you’ll be able to spot a series of Incan sites before arriving at Aguas Calientes. After disembarking, take the short bus journey up to Machu Picchu for your privately guided tour of the Inca citadel.

DAY 7

Aguas Calientes - Cusco              

Day at leisure to explore Machu Picchu and Cusco

Take the morning to return to Machu Picchu on your own before returning to Cusco. Enjoy your final night in Cusco wandering the colonial streets and savouring a meal in one of the city's excellent restaurants.

DAY 8

Cusco - Lima - Home

Private transfer to Cusco Airport for your domestic flight to Lima and onward international flight home.
